We wanted to share a go to home tea that is super beneficial, healthy and tasty. Ive recently been told by a Gastro doctor that I need to stop consuming either coffee because of the caffeine, or alcohol. Easy pick-no more Starbucks for me. My go to alternative is now Ginger/Turmeric Tea. We add Honey and Lemon to cut the strong ginger taste. I love the way it makes me feel and enjoy the taste.
The benefits of this combination of ginger and turmeric is that it supports immune function, aids in digestion, fights inflammation (think arthritis) promotes heart health, boosts antioxidants and helps with skin health by promoting collagen production.
Peel both, chunk them, add to a. bunch of water, boil and then let sit and simmer for a while. We leave it in a big pot on the stovetop so we just have to reheat each morning. Besides feeling better and giving me a jump start in the morning, We’ve saved a fortune.
